Reflection #1

This week in all my class I will be using many study skills to do all of my homework, to study and to finish up my projects. One study skill I now use is a to-do list. This helps me to organize my time so I will get everything I need to done since I not only go to school full time I also have two jobs. One of my jobs is being a nanny, so I really have to manage my time. SQ3R actually has come much more handy then I thought it would. It may take more time in the beginning but when it comes time for the test it’s much easier to study for it like my Spanish test I have coming up this week. Also making flash cards help a lot when it comes to studying for my Spanish test. I try to go though all my flash card for the whole semester at least once a week or more. Two other ways to help me with understanding Spanish more is watching television or listening to the radio in Spanish and writing sentence or doing exercises from the book. My Spanish class is one of the biggest things on my list this week because I must do well in the class. For my Child Development class we have a lot due this week. Our art portfolios are due with everything we have learned over the last six weeks with example work and are reaction paper about our experience visiting and touring the Lab school and observation of the school is due. In addition we must write a reaction post on my gateway for several chapters in our books. Which highlighting and annotating makes it easy to write my response and use good examples from the text. Lastly for my reading class I must finish my lab contract and make sure I am prepared for the exit exams for the weeks to come.

From the sentence you can see that it must be someone important since whats its between. inter means like to be apart of so its a part of commuating with foreigners.

Fearless and righteous, McCain has long been known to unleash a lacerating anger on those who cross him- Senate colleagues, foreign interlocutors, even the interrogators who once held his life in their hands at the Hanoi Hilton.

Newsweek Vocabulary

unilateralism

For the original sentence you can tell it's not viewed as a good thing. Also un- mean one and lateral- means side. So its only one side which isn't good.

There will be no more ill- justified lurches into the war, no more unilateralism, no more George W. Bush.
